Drone air vehicles, a swimming robot, an app that helps the blind see, an artificial pancreas, a wheelchair that drives itself. These are some examples of the AI and robotic research being done at CIM. McGill has a huge and deep knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics going back to the early 1980s. With 20 professors and 150 graduate students, the Centre for Intelligent Machines draws students and faculty from around the world to McGill.
