From April 12–14, four Farm Management and Technology students will compete in a unique two-day event in which teams of students from 38 institutions evaluate a dairy operation with the help of dairy industry professionals serving as advisors

From the classroom to the farm


Every graduating student has their own way of getting ready the day of their Convocation. Some get haircuts, others go for a latté with friends and family or buy a new pair of shoes for the event. You can be pretty sure that very few do what Félix Bertrand did the morning of his Convocation ceremony on June 2. “I was at home helping my father with the pigs,” he says.

On March 31, the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Laurent Lessard; and Geoffrey Kelley, MNA for Jacques-Cartier, announced on behalf of the Government of Quebec $3,772,000 in funding for the Farm Management and Technology Program.
