$9M for McGill research through CRC Program

McGill has been awarded nine new Canada Research Chairs (CRC) and five renewals, for a total investment of $9.7 million in research and development. The new and renewed chairs come from across the university and their studies range widely, from the neural basis of brain disorders to the geology of fault lines.

Caroline Palmer of McGill’s Department of Psychology has received a $1.65 million research grant, to be distributed over six years, from NSERC’s Collaborative Research and Training Experience (CREATE) for her research and training program, “Complex Dynamics: Accelerating discoveries in brain and behavior.”
