Jet lag can’t slow McGill’s Daoust

You can excuse Mélodie Daoust if she’s a little tired these days. This past Thursday she captained the Canadian national development team to gold at the Nations Cup tournament in Fussen, Germany, before hopping a plane back to Montreal so she could join her Martlets teammates as they took on crosstown rival Concordia on Friday. Just six hours after touching down, Daoust scored once and added three helpers as No.2-ranked McGill skated to a 5-2 victory.
