In October, we asked for input as part of the consultation process for the redesign of the 3rd floor study space of the McIntyre Building.

Paperless movement underway at the Jewish General Hospital

A paperless movement is underway at the Jewish General Hospital (JGH), and it is fueled by more than environmental concerns and the need to reduce the hospital’s carbon footprint. The initiative – piloted by the hospital-wide Transformational Change program seeking to increase efficiency and cut costs – has as its principal aim the reduction of the volume of printing and photocopying in order to channel the savings right back into patient care.

Exceptional educators receive Principal’s Awards

The Principal’s Prize for Excellence in Teaching, established in 2000 to recognize teachers and their importance to the academic experience of students at McGill, was awarded to one recipient in each of four categories: Faculty Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Full Professor.
The University also honoured professor Ann Wechsler, who was presented with the McGill University Lifetime Achievement Award for Leadership in Learning.
