Jan 28: Gil Troy at the Bookstore

Posted on Sunday, January 20, 2013

Gil Troy is a leading political historian and has taught at McGill for more than 20 years.

The McGill Bookstore, along with McGill’s History and Jewish Studies departments, welcomes Professor Gil Troy for a lecture and signing of his new book, Moynihan’s Moment: America’s Fight Against Zionism as Racism. The talk and book focus on the United Nations 1975 Resolution pronouncing Zionism as a form of racism and racial discrimination, and Daniel Patrick Moynihan’s passionate response against the resolution, declaring it an anti-Semitic international law. The event takes place on the third floor of the bookstore on Monday, Jan. 28, at 12 noon. Admission is free and refreshments will be served. For more information, please call 514-398-3222, email events.bookstore@mcgill.ca or click here.
