- The Journal club in statistical methods for genetics/genomics: 2011-2012 will be beginning again soon, meeting approximately once a month. Please vote on which of these two times you would prefer: Monday 2:45-3:45pm (just before the Epidemiology seminar at Purvis Hall) or Friday 9am-10am as before. Contact Celia with your preference.
- Sept 12 to 14: CSCI/CITAC Annual Conference and Young Investigators Forum. Takes place at the Delta Ottawa City Centre and Fairmount Chateau Laurier in Ottawa. Consists of a mentor day for the CITAC members, award presentations, a joint symposium themed “The Role of the Public in Influencing Publicly funded Research.” Including, the Young Investigators Forum (YIF), where trainees in MD/PhD programs and CIP programs highlight their research.
