“New perspectives on Osteogenesis Imperfecta”
Objectives:  

  1. OI is foremost a clinical diagnosis.
  2. Bone abnormalities are caused by either dominant negative mutations affecting the synthesis or structure of type I collagen, or recessive mutations compromising the organization of the collagen fibrils.
  3. Current standard of care is based on bisphosphonate regimens.

This is the last academic half-day of the present academic year.
