Dean’s Message

Impact of Annual Giving – 2012

The information in this 2012 annual giving impact report highlights the considerable change and remarkable growth that you have led at the McGill Faculty of Engineering. Each of your gifts has served as a building block in a multi-year plan to reinvigorate your Faculty, ensuring that we maintain our position as a first-in-class engineering school.

Our professors and students deserve tremendous praise for our recent accomplishments, but the support and encouragement of alumni like you have been the other essential components in this transformation.

Success is a lot easier to achieve when everyone pulls together, and your generosity helps to ensure that everything is in place to bring out the best in both our students and professors. When they do well, you benefit from the shared pride of having contributed to their success.

Annual gifts to the Alma Mater Fund are absolutely essential in helping McGill Engineering to grow and develop, and I hope that this impact report makes clear that we are using your dollars wisely to help our students to excel in their studies and to enjoy rewarding careers after graduation.

As always, thank you for your engagement.
