Professor Faleh Tamimi is a contributor author of the recently published book “Advanced Aspects of Imaging in Oral Implantology”. Student Spotlight: PhD Student André Charbonneau

André Charbonneau beside Santa Clause with his research group in Finland. André Charbonneau spend his summer far from his home in Alberta. Thanks to the help of a couple travel awards he went to Oulu, Finland to continue his MSc research. After completing his BSc in Biochemistry at the University of Ottawa, he joined the Faculty as a master student three years ago under the supervision of Simon Tran. He just started his PhD in Craniofacial Health Sciences and will be working on his project “Creating a 3D Printed Human Tissue Mimic for Cancer Drug Testing” jointly with supervisor Simon Tran and co-supervisor J. Matt Kinsella from the Department of Bioengineering. When he is not in the lab working, he enjoys staying active through sports, playing musical instruments and cooking.
