Where Are They Now?

Since 2002, over 900 Arts students from 40 departments and programs have interned in over 500 host organizations in 70 countries. With the Arts Internship Program about to enter its 10th year, it begs the question: “Where are they now?”

The Save a Seat Campaign


At the very heart of McGill University, nestled in the Arts Building, is Moyse Hall, a 306-seat traditional proscenium stage theatre. Once named a historical site by the Montreal Historical Society, Moyse Hall is indeed a theatre with a cherished past.

Celebrating a Decade

It’s a different sort of stage, but there are many characters and plenty of drama on Parliament Hill. Enter stage left: the Women in House Program. Founded in 2001 by McGill students Galit Dobner and Chi Nguyen, the Women in House Program is an empowering and one-of-a-kind student initiative.

New Writer-in-Residence Program

In September 2010, the Faculty of Arts celebrated the launch of its new Mordecai Richler Writer-in-Residence Program. This exciting initiative – named in honour of one of Canada’s most compelling writers, Mordecai Richler, DLitt’00 – builds on the University’s academic leadership in the areas of literature, film, and the public life of the arts.
